Matcha Green Tea Lemongrass Tea Bags

In my travels to Japan I have enjoyed many things made with matcha including the Japanese matcha tea. I’m glad that I can get a piece of Japan with these Ito En teas. It allows me to feel closer to Japan while I’m stateside.

This is the best green tea I have had. I have tried several brands in search of a strong but smooth taste. Its not too bitter. My absolute favorite is the ginger root. This tea is just as good over ice as well

I've always been on the fence with lemongrass as it's overused in many herbal teas. This blend of green tea with lemongrass is exceptional! Very smooth and the lemongrass is subtle but compliments the matcha very nicely. I also brewed this longer than the suggested 30 seconds and no bitterness came through. 1 min to 1:30 seems about right as long as the water isn't boiling.

Umami and lemongrass helps my digestion. Delicious tea
