Known as “Jewel Dew”, Gyokuro is shade-grown for twenty days before harvest. The highest grade available, this truly special green tea is opulent in umami flavor and finishes smooth. It has a delicate sweetness, an element of its complexion that is due to the high L-theanine antioxidant content.
How To Brew
This tea requires low heat: pour boiled water into a cup (or cooling vessel) first and wait about 2 minutes to cool before brewing.
